Can our dog join us for the outdoor session?
Yes, well-behaved family pets are welcome to join outdoor sessions. We just ask that they stay on a leash and that you bring along someone to help manage them whenever they're not actively part of the shot.
How many photos will we receive from the family session?

Will I have access to every photo taken, including the unedited ones?
No - you'll only receive the final, professionally edited images. Unedited or RAW files aren't provided under any circumstances, as we deliver purely polished, high-resolution photos that meet our studio's quality standard.
Where do family sessions take place - studio or outdoors?
Family sessions can be held either at our Marsden Park studio or at a scenic outdoor location, depending on the style and package you choose.
What should everyone wear for the family photos?
We suggest coordinating around neutral tones - think cream, white, beige, soft denim, or earthy pastels. It's best to avoid dressing everyone in identical outfits; complementary colours that work well together tend to look far more natural and modern in photos than a matched uniform look.
Will we be guided through posing, or do we figure it out ourselves?
Yes - you'll be guided every step of the way. Rather than stiff, formal posing, the focus is on natural groupings and genuine, real-life moments, so everyone comes across relaxed and effortless in the final photos rather than looking posed.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate on our session day?
Don't worry - we plan for that. If conditions turn out to be unsuitable for an outdoor shoot, we'll either move your session into our climate-controlled studio or reschedule you to the next available day, completely free of charge. Either way, you won't lose your booking to bad weather.
Can I buy more edited photos if I fall in love with extras from my gallery?
Yes, absolutely. If there are additional shots from your gallery you'd like to keep, you can purchase extra fully edited, high-resolution images for $12 each.
How do I book and confirm my family session date?

When will I receive my photos, and how are they delivered?
Your professionally edited images are typically ready within 2–3 weeks of your session. You'll receive them through a secure online gallery, making it simple to view, download, and share your photos.
